According to CoinMeta, co-founder Sean Bowe proposed to end the automatic funding stream for the Zcash community (ZCG), stating that their fund pool is sufficient to continue supporting the project without further automatic payments. He mentioned that ZCG currently has over $125 million in funds and will receive several million more dollars before the funding stream is halted. Bowe shared a draft proposing to redirect 8% of ZCG's Zcash ( ZEC ) block subsidy share to the network's sustainability reserve, with the existing funds remaining unchanged. This allocation will flow towards the network's sustainability mechanism until the current funding period ends in 2028.
