Bitget Wallet Launches USD/EUR Virtual Accounts; No European or American Identity Required to Open an Account
2026-10-27 20:07:34
According to CoinMeta, Bitget Wallet has officially launched the virtual account (virtual account) feature. Users do not need to have residency in the United States or the European Union to create a real US dollar or euro account for free within their wallet, allowing them to directly receive salaries, freelance income, and cross-border remittances. This feature is provided with compliance support by the licensed banking partner Noah and is available globally. It can be set up within minutes after completing the KYC process, supporting mainstream payment channels such as ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT, and SEPA. The transaction fees are significantly lower than those of traditional remittance services. After users transfer dollars or euros to their virtual accounts, the funds are automatically converted into stablecoins in real-time, which can be used directly for financial management within the wallet, cryptocurrency card purchases, and QR code payments, among other scenarios. This move marks an extension of Bitget Wallet's payment ecosystem from the "consumer side" to the "receiving side," establishing a complete monetary account system that covers receiving, saving, financial management, and consumption.
