According to CoinMeta, Ripple announced on October 27th the expansion of its strategic partnership with Bank of New York Mellon (BNY). BNY has already supported XRP and the US dollar stablecoin RLUSD on its digital asset custody platform, and plans to expand support for tokenized assets and investment products on XRP Ledger (XRPL), enabling institutional clients to directly mint and redeem RLUSD through BNY in the future. In addition, both parties are exploring tokenized supply chain financing based on XRPL with the global working capital platform C2FO, in order to expand investors' investment channels into assets such as trade receivables. On the same day, Ripple also announced a partnership with C2FO, planning to introduce the financing and settlement activities of its Instant Pay services into XRPL, using RLUSD for settlement, so that suppliers can receive payments for approved invoices within seconds. Currently, the related trade financing solutions are still in the advancement stage.
