LME Copper Prices Rise 1% Driven by Recovery in Artificial Intelligence Sector and Strong Demand from China

CoinMeta data: According to foreign media reports, on Tuesday, the copper price at the London Metal Exchange rose by 1%, driven by the recovery of the artificial intelligence (AI) stock sector and strong demand from China. However, the strengthening of the US dollar limited the increase in copper prices to some extent. Eva Mante, a strategist at ING Group, stated that the rebound in related stocks provided support for copper prices. Markets expect the expansion of infrastructure projects to drive an increase in copper demand, while at the same time, copper supply remains tight, especially in the Chinese market. Last week, copper inventories increased, but due to the high concentration of inventories in North America, there is still concern about supply shortages in other regions. Meanwhile, copper inventories at the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell by more than 25%.
