According to CoinMeta, Coinbase reported that a security incident occurred with its analytics service provider Amplitude, resulting in the hackers gaining access to contact information of over 70,000 users. Coinbase confirmed that there was no evidence of unauthorized access to its own systems, but the incident affected the contact data of its customers. Although none of the customers' funds were compromised, Coinbase is currently notifying the affected customers and regulatory authorities.
