According to CoinMeta, Ethereum domain name service ENS announces that ENSv2 has been launched on the Ethereum mainnet. The new protocol is simultaneously released with the updated ENS application and ENS browser. ENSv2 allows each domain to have its own independent registry for subdomains, providing more detailed permission settings and enabling multiple parties to jointly manage the same namespace. Over 40 teams have already completed adaptation to v2, including 1inch, Aragon, Arbitrum, Jumper, Lighter, MetaMask, and Safe. Existing ENS domains remain valid and do not require re-registration. ETH domains can choose to upgrade to v2. Additionally, ENS has also simultaneously issued ENSv2 to commemorate NFT.
