CoinMeta Data: Lynq and Zerobeta announce the integration of their platforms on the Avalanche platform, allowing tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds to be used as collateral for secured loans and digital asset transactions, while continuing to earn interest. According to a announcement on October 27th, this collaboration will connect the settlement network of Lynq with the Blueshift risk management platform of Zerobeta, enabling financial institutions to pledge eligible assets without transferring them. The integration utilizes the collateral locking feature of Lynq to ensure that assets are placed in custody while continuing to generate interest. Blueshift manages the collateral requirements and monitors the margins, while Lynq handles the actual pledging and release of assets. This arrangement will enable institutions to utilize their existing assets to obtain financing and support trading positions without giving up the interest generated by those assets.
