According to CoinMeta, the Phantom wallet has launched a prediction market for eligible US users through integration with Kalshi, allowing users to trade Bitcoin prices, sports events, and other real-world events directly within its application. This integration provides event contracts that are regulated by CFTC, including a short-term Bitcoin price market that settles every 15 minutes. Users can trade using their Phantom cash balance, with Kalshi responsible for customer verification, account management, and transaction execution. The launch of this service comes after CFTC granted an exemption from regulation in March, permitting Phantom to connect users to regulated markets without having to register as an introducing broker.
