AXA Financial: Even with multiple interest rate hikes by the Fed, the economy is still likely to remain stable

According to CoinMeta, Kevin Gordon, the head of macro research and strategy at Harvest Financial ( Schwab ), stated in his analysis that despite the Federal Reserve's multiple interest rate hikes, the economy is still likely to remain stable. He pointed out that historical data shows that within 12 months after the Fed begins a tightening cycle, the S&P 500 index has experienced an average maximum decline of over 10%. However, the current economic backdrop is still relatively favorable for the Fed's interest rate hikes, so even if this is a cycle involving multiple rate increases, the economy is likely to remain robust. He added that stock prices often respond to the Fed's interest rate actions, but this is just one of many factors that affect the investment environment and stock prices. Currently, investments in the field of artificial intelligence and inflation triggered by rising oil prices seem to be the main drivers of the stock market.
