Goldman Sachs expects the Fed to raise interest rates in December
2026-10-29 03:24:48
According to CoinMeta, Kay Hager, the chief investment officer for fixed income at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, stated that the Fed's pause on raising interest rates is likely to be only temporary. He expects the Fed to resume raising rates in December and pointed out that the strong CPI data from September reminds us that the risk of rising inflation still exists, and the Fed may take further 'preventive' measures. If energy prices rise again, or if subsequent data remains strong, there could be further tightening actions next year.
