Axios: Saudi Arabia Requests Trump to Give More Time for Negotiations
2026-10-29 05:03:42
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Axios, Saudi Arabia has requested that Trump not rush into war but instead provide more time for negotiations. This mediation between the United States and Iran is led by Qatar, with support from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey. Qatari negotiator Ali Al-Sawadi visited Tehran earlier this week to discuss potential agreements with the Trump administration with Iranian officials. The mediators informed Iran that accepting the proposal might be the only way to avoid large-scale attacks after the U.S. mid-term elections. A few days prior, security officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan also conveyed this message to Iran during their visit to Tehran.
