According to CoinMeta, as reported on the UK government website on the 28th, British Chancellor of the Exchequer John Hilley announced during the presentation of the new government's first fiscal budget in the House of Commons that the UK would provide an additional 10 billion pounds (approximately 8.9 yuan per pound) in economic and military aid to Ukraine. Hilley stated that this aid would include loans, export financing guarantees, and 500 million pounds in emergency military funds for this winter. Hilley and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of the additional aid commitment earlier in the same day. Including this aid, the UK has committed a total of 35 billion pounds in support to Ukraine, of which 16 billion pounds is for military assistance.
