The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has filed charges against Telegram founder Pavel Durov for aiding and abetting terrorism and placed him on its international arrest list. Following this news, GRAM, a token related to the TON ecosystem, fell by nearly 3%, demonstrating how legal risks can quickly spread to related crypto assets.
The Russian accusations involve content management.
Russia claims the case is related to unremoved content on Telegram. This content is allegedly used by Ukrainian special forces, terrorist organizations, and extremist groups to plan sabotage, online scams, and attacks against targets within Russia.
The Russian side also mentioned a Telegram chatbot called Daivinchik or Leo, claiming it was used to recruit young Russians. They stated that 46 Russians aged 12 to 22 have been arrested in the past year on recruitment leads.
Telegram's official X account subsequently posted a picture of Durov giving the middle finger, but as of the time of this report, neither Telegram nor Durov himself had provided a detailed response to the new allegations.
Telegram is under continued pressure.
This indictment continues years of tension between Russian authorities and Durov and Telegram. Moscow has been tightening its control over foreign technology platforms and internet activities in recent years, and Telegram has been subject to numerous restrictions as a result.
Despite this, Telegram remains an important communication tool for Russian users, with many continuing to access the platform via VPNs. Meanwhile, official institutions such as the Kremlin and the Russian Ministry of Defense continue to publish daily information on Telegram.
Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, Telegram has become a crucial channel for officials, soldiers, and commentators from both sides to release updates, statements, and on-the-ground information, which has also placed the platform under greater political and legal pressure.
GRAM fell to near support level.
In June of this year, the TON blockchain announced that the token formerly known as TON has been renamed GRAM, and holders' assets will be automatically converted at a 1:1 ratio without any additional migration or exchange operations.
The market data cited in the article shows that GRAM's daily chart continues to show lower highs and lower lows, with no significant relief in short-term pressure, and the price is approaching the support level around $1.3729.

- If it falls below $1.37, the next support level to watch is $1.30.
- If selling pressure continues, the $1.20 area may come into focus.
- If the price returns above $1.52, short-term pressure may ease.
