In the past 7 days, the NFT market transactions continued to decline. According to the seven-day data as of August 29th, global NFT sales dropped to 63.33 million US dollars, a decrease of 44.7% compared to the previous period's approximately 114.5 million US dollars. During the same time, the number of transactions decreased, but the number of buying and selling addresses significantly increased.

Overall transaction volume declines.

The number of buyer addresses has risen to 227,300, an increase of 30.48% week-on-week; the number of seller addresses has risen to 247,400, an increase of 54.64% week-on-week. These statistics are based on on-chain addresses and do not equate to the number of unique users.

While the trading volume declined, the number of transactions decreased by 14.13% to 802,300 transactions, indicating that market activity was spread across more addresses. However, both the average transaction value and overall market enthusiasm have weakened. During the same period, the crypto market also experienced a pullback; Bitcoin traded around $77,600 on August 29th, and Ethereum around $2,440.

Ethereum still ranks first.

Ethereum remains the blockchain with the highest NFT sales volume, with organic sales of $35.56 million over seven days, but this represents a decrease of 49.01% compared to the previous period. If wash trading is taken into account, the total amount reaches $37.22 million. Despite the decline in sales, the number of Ethereum buyer addresses still increased by 34.34% to 33,100.

Bitcoin ranked second with sales of $8.68 million, a week-on-week decrease of 59.53%; the number of buyer addresses increased by 41.11% to 10,200. Polygon came in third with $7.03 million, Base at $3.57 million, and BNB Chain at $2.81 million. Among the major networks, Solana was one of the few chains to record growth, with sales rising to $1.91 million, an increase of 11.17%.

The head series is driven by large orders.

Looking at the series, Courtyard on Polygon continues to top the weekly chart with $6.09 million, but sales have decreased by 37.55% compared to the previous period. Argonauts on Ethereum ranks second with $5.7 million.

On Bitcoin, $X@ AGI BRC -20 NFTs ranks third with a trading volume of 2.58 million US dollars, showing a week-on-week increase of 74.89%, but the transactions are highly concentrated. A total of 258,000 US dollars' worth of trading volume was generated by just 3 transactions in this series. This week's largest single transaction, NFT, also came from this series, with a transaction price of approximately 2.14 million US dollars, accounting for about 83% of its weekly trading volume. Among the top five largest single transactions, 4 were from this series.
