Amplify's income-generating ETF, which is linked to XRP, recently appeared in a SEC document covering up to June 30. This does not mean that the new product has been approved or just launched, but it indicates that XRP related investment tools are more routinely entering the regulated ETF system in the United States.
XRPM is not a new fund.
Public information shows that XRPM is fully named Amplify XRP 3% Monthly Option Income ETF, and it is part of the existing products under Amplify ETF Trust. This fund began operations on November 17, 2025, and it had also appeared in the fund disclosure documents of SEC prior to that.
This disclosure has attracted attention not mainly because of any new progress in the product itself, but because a fund related to XRP has, like other traditional funds, been incorporated into the regular reporting, custody, and management framework of the US ETF.
Generating profits through options strategies
XRPM is not merely a tracker of the spot price of XRP. Amplify states externally that the fund aims to participate in the price increase of XRP on one hand, and on the other hand, it generates profits by selling options related to products traded on the XRP exchange.
One of the goals of the fund's disclosure is to strive for an annualized option premium income of 36%. According to data as of August 31, XRPM's largest strategic position is Canary XRP ETF (code XRPC), which accounts for 30.32% of the portfolio. The fund also holds multiple XRPC option positions.

This means that institutional investors' approach to managing XRP is gradually shifting from a single spot exposure to income-enhancing and derivative strategies.
Spot XRP ETF has strong capital outflow
The funding situation also provides a backdrop for such products. Data shows that as of the week ending August 28, US spot XRP ETF attracted approximately $110.49 million in net inflows, marking the strongest single-week performance since 2026.
As of the same period, the cumulative net inflow for the spot XRP ETF was approximately $1.66 billion, with a total net asset value of around $1.44 billion. As funds continue to flow in, the variety of ETF products surrounding XRP is also increasing, no longer limited to direct holding or passive tracking of spot prices.
- XRPM As of July 31, the allocation rate was 37.27%.
- In August 2026, a distribution of $0.31380 per share will be made.
- XRP Closed at around $1.39 on Tuesday
The existing information does not show that this time, the disclosure of the SEC file directly drove up the price of XRP. What is more noteworthy is that a XRP-related fund, which has been on the market for less than a year, has been operating continuously through the traditional asset management industry's common reporting and operational systems.
