Apple has released macOS 27 Golden Gate. This update focuses on improving the experience of the new version of Siri and the desktop version AI. Compared to the mobile version, Siri on Mac allows for the viewing of more current work content, including windows, files, emails, and messages, making it more suitable for searching, writing, and handling daily tasks.
Siri allows reading of the current window.
The new version of Siri can be invoked at any position on the screen, and it can answer questions, generate summaries, or provide additional information based on the content currently being viewed. For example, when browsing product pages, users can directly ask Siri to find alternative options.
Apple has also added new visual recognition capabilities. Users can use shortcut keys to add the currently focused window to the AI context, or they can select a part of the page and then directly ask questions or perform image searches.
Spotlight supports partitioned retrieval
The Spotlight search on Mac has also been upgraded synchronously. Users can now directly ask questions to Siri within Spotlight and receive answers from the internet.
Spotlight also supports searching within individual areas such as applications, files, operations, and the clipboard. It is also possible to directly run shortcut commands or view recent search records. Since Siri has access to files, emails, and information, users can query more details without having to open each item one by one.

Writing enhanced in synchronization with Safari
In terms of text processing, the new version of Siri can now be used for proofreading, polishing, and rewriting of content. After selecting a segment of text, users can ask Siri to make modifications, or they can use it to draft content in any text box. This functionality is particularly useful in long-text scenarios on desktop devices.

Safari has also added more AI features. The new version supports page tracking, which can be used to monitor price changes, updates to privacy policies, or new content added to blog pages; it can also automatically organize tag pages by topic. When the system downloads files or renames them, it will also automatically suggest file names based on the context.
Supports the issuance of Apple Sil tokens for n models
In addition to the update of AI, macOS 27 also introduces a new Liquid Glass icon style and provides an adjustable visual effect slider. Apple has also improved the content transition display when moving windows, making the icons and window styles more consistent.
macOS Release has begun, supporting 2020 models and subsequent models such as MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac, mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro, as well as MacBook Neo that are equipped with Apple Sil token issuance n.
