UNI rose from $2.35 to $10.85 in the third quarter of 2026, breaking through its long-established descending triangle pattern.
According to the UNI daily chart, $12.30 is the next major resistance level, with $15.10 and $17.50 above that respectively.
After years of compression, the price trend of UNI no longer seems so difficult to discern. Since hitting a high of $45 in 2021, the token has been under pressure from bears, with a descending trend line continuously exerting downward pressure on the price, ultimately forming a descending triangle.
UNI Price Breakthrough Changes Technical Structure
The rise in the third quarter of 2026 changed this structure. UNI soared from $2.35 to $10.85, breaking through this long-term pattern and turning the period after the breakthrough into a potential accumulation phase.

The upcoming resistance levels are already clearly visible. UNI faces resistance around $12.30 this year, followed by $15.10 and $17.50. However, this does not mean that the price will move straight to these levels.
If UNI cannot hold above $12.30, the consolidation may continue, with prices fluctuating below that level. A deeper pullback could even see UNI fall back to $8.25 and $6.35, before buyers attempt to drive another round of upward movement.
Uniswap Usage Volume Signals Another Bullish Signal
Technical aspects are not the only factor that has changed. The usage of Uniswap has been on the rise, providing another layer of support for the price narrative of UNI.

Uniswap V4 currently accounts for 50% of the Ethereum DEX trading volume in Uniswap V2, V3, V4, and Curve, which is higher than the 31% recorded in August 2025.
UNI The price needs to stabilize at $12.30 first before there is a chance of reaching higher targets.
For the price of UNI, $12.30 is the next key level. If it manages to hold above this level, $15.10 and $17.50 will come into view; if not, the token may continue to be pressured below the resistance level and face the risk of falling back to $8.25 or even $6.35. The breakout has already occurred, and next, UNI needs to prove that it can maintain its gains.
