Lincoln, Nebraska, September 28, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Assurity announces that Cori Mooberry has been appointed as the new Vice President of Sales for the company. She possesses over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and has previously worked at LifeSecure, Nebraska Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS of Nebraska), with her most recent role being a leadership position at CareScout (Genworth).

Throughout her career, she has continuously driven the growth in sales of workplace/voluntary benefits and employer-sponsored benefit programs, covering independent distribution networks of various sizes.

Mooberry became a licensed insurance agent in 2006, and subsequently was promoted to a management position. More recently, they have served as the director of CareScout and are responsible for workplace channels.

President and CEO Susie Keisler - Munro stated: "The career of Cori is built on solid partnerships and rigorous execution, and she will bring the same vitality and rigor to this position as well. She will work with our regional sales team to expand even more possibilities for our distribution partners."

Joining Assurity also brought Mooberry's career back to its starting point. Nearly 17 years ago, she began her career in the insurance industry at Assurity, initially working in the underwriting call center before transitioning to a sales position.
