Sarwant has over 30 years of experience and has led numerous large-scale consulting and transformation projects, possessing profound professional capabilities in strategic consulting, especially in the fields of transportation, industry, technology, and energy. He is also a renowned futurist who focuses on forward-looking research and major trends. He has authored two books, New Mega Trends and Innovating to Zero, with New Mega Trends having been sold in more than 30 countries.

Sarwant also holds multiple positions on advisory boards of various companies, including a board member of Vasuki. Vasuki is a fund established by Rothschild that invests in global automotive startups; he is also the non-executive director of Ascenso Tyres.
