AI Startup EliseAI announced on Tuesday that it has completed a $350 million financing round, with a post-investment valuation of $4 billion, doubling its valuation from the Series E financing in August last year.

EliseAI, co-founder and CEO, Minna Song, stated to TechCrunch that the company launched a new AI "teammate" earlier this month named Apollo, which can assist in handling tasks on the EliseAI platform.

"It is natively built within the same platform, which is already in use for leasing, maintenance, and renewal," said Song. "So it can play a role in every role within the property team."

Song also indicates that EliseAI assists specialist doctor groups in automatically handling patient-related paperwork in the medical field, 'from the initial call to referral, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, medical record preparation, and follow-up, ensuring that no step is overlooked.'

She said that the company has targeted housing and healthcare because these two are among the “two largest expenditures” of American residents.

Your car and its accompanying mobile apps may be transmitting various types of data to tech companies.
A study conducted by researchers from Northeastern University in collaboration with Consumer Reports found that among 21 newer connected cars, 19 send traffic to at least one third-party entity, and among 30 accompanying apps, 7 provide sensitive data such as VIN, email addresses, phone numbers, and precise locations to companies involved in tracking and advertising. The study indicates that once the apps are paired with the vehicles, the exposure of consumers to advertising and tracking activities nearly doubles.
