IT News on September 30th: Riot Games announced today (September 30th) that their virtual hip-hop music group "True Damage" from the game League of Legends is making a comeback, and they will perform the theme song for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, titled "Know My Name" (Riot Games / Virgin Music Group).

This song is the 13th theme song for the Global Finals and will be released on major streaming platforms, along with the official MV, at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 9th, Beijing time.

This year, the core focus of MV is on Faker and his legendary journey in helping T1 achieve a historic three-peat in the global finals. The video looks back on the honors and challenges that have shaped his career, praises the tenacious will that has crafted Faker's professional career, and highlights his ability to bounce back from failures, grow through adversity, and continuously reach new heights on the world's largest stage.

"True Damage" is an avant-garde hip-hop music group and also a member of the continuously expanding lineup of cutting-edge virtual artists in League of Legends. The group consists of five popular heroes from the game, each with their own unique voice, style, and global influence: Akali (rapper), Ekko (rapper), Kaya (lead vocalist, rapper), Senna (lead vocalist), and Ashe (producer).

“Know My Name” (In My Name) is the first release by “True Damage” since the 2019 single “GIANTS” (Giant), which has accumulated over 230 million plays across all platforms.

After collaborating on theme songs with NewJeans, Linkin Park, and global artists such as G.E.M Deng Ziqi, this will mark the first time that a virtual artist under Riot Games takes on the role of composing the theme song for a global finals.

This comeback collaboration features an all-star lineup of artists: SOYEON (Tian Xiaojuan) from i-dle lends her voice to Ahri once again, Coco Jones voices Sinah, Vic Mensa voices Irelia, and Sof and Reyes voices Kiyana.
