New Orion will use benchmark assessments and independent practice readiness evaluations, and confidential, enforceable communications will be conducted based on the results of each institution.

Carlsbad, California, September 30, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Registered investment advisors and TAMP service providers Axxcess Wealth Management announced today that the company has expanded its Orion bundled services and launched two diagnostic tools in axxcessplatform.com. These tools are aimed at institutions that use Orion Advisor Technology, as well as advisors who are considering practicing independently.

“Orion Usage Benchmark Assessment” is an assessment that takes 6 minutes and consists of 24 questions. This tool scores institutions’ use of Orion across eight areas, covering billing, transactions, alternative investments, and supplier expenditures, among others. Subsequently, Axxcess experts will host a 30-minute optimization meeting to focus on the three areas where each institution scored the lowest.

Axxcess indicates that the service provided by Orion has replaced the traditional supplier model. Axxcess does not add another layer of technology, systems, or processes; instead, it operates within the institution's existing Orion database under the institution's own brand. The team includes several former senior support personnel from Orion, who are responsible for daily sub-account-level billing, Eclipse transactions, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance tasks. TAMP capabilities are also provided in the same manner, including UMA / UMH, over 400 SMA strategies, as well as a complete lifecycle management for alternative investments, covering everything from digital subscription documents to capital call and K-1 forms.

The company states that removing the supplier tier not only reduces costs but also allows institutions to gain room for internal expansion. Axxcess further enhances this capability through its internal applications developed for operating its own platform, including billing automation, transaction monitoring, and data integration.

Axxcess Chief Operating Officer Jon Brackmann stated: "Most organizations have established their operational systems around suppliers. Outsourced services remove suppliers from this relationship. The technology itself does not change; what changes is who operates it and which brand name is used. The system we built to expand our $14.4 billion platform can also be utilized within the customers' platforms later on."

For securities firm system consultants and independent consultants, the "Independent Practice Readiness Assessment" evaluates their readiness from seven dimensions, including client ownership, contract terms, business book portability, and economic viability. The tool provides recommended paths and a realistic timeline for implementation. Consultants can join Axxcess under their own brand, undergo incubation during the registration period of the new RIA, or bring their existing institutions onto the platform.

The company stated that this assessment has initiated a structured and confidential process. Consultants will share the assessment results with the Axxcess migration team, with the first communication to take place after signing a non-disclosure agreement ( NDA ). Subsequently, Axxcess will model the economics under both the W-2 employment model and the independent model, including factors related to forgivable and note. Before any commitments are made, the relevant terms will be documented in a written memorandum of understanding ( MOU ).

Platform Services Director Adrienne Rivett stated: "By first implementing the process of NDA, we enable consultants to have genuine discussions regarding their own client portfolios and improve the consistency between customer experience and consultant experience. This allows them to see what their institutions would look like with support from institutional-level infrastructure, without having to give up equity."

Axxcess indicates that consultants who join its platform will retain ownership of their clients, data, and business.
