Damming Robotics strengthens network security, facilitating the deployment of trusted entities AI

Daming Robotics has become the world's first built-in vision AI collaborative robot manufacturer to obtain IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 certification.

Taipei, October 6, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Daming Robotics announced that its TM AI Cobot S series has obtained the Cybersecurity Certification of Level 2 ( SL2 ) with the certification number 62443-4-2 after passing the independent assessment conducted by DEKRA. This milestone strengthens the cybersecurity foundation for collaborative robots deployed in interconnected manufacturing environments.

As the entity AI enters the production phase, robots are increasingly connecting with devices, manufacturing systems, and data infrastructure. Manufacturers not only need intelligent automation but also need to have confidence in the cybersecurity capabilities of the products they deploy.

Daming Robotics integrates built-in vision, artificial intelligence, and robotic execution capabilities through its “SEE • THINK • ACT (See • Think • Act)” approach. Independent verification of its cybersecurity capabilities provides a foundation for reliable deployment.

IEC 62443-4-2 specifies the safety requirements for components of industrial automation and control systems. This certification provides an independently verified reference for manufacturers and system integrators to assess the network security capabilities of TM AI Cobot S series products.

Daming Robot's Chief Operating Officer Scott Huang stated:

As the entity AI enters the production phase, what customers care about is no longer just how intelligent the robot is. They also need to know whether the robot can operate safely and reliably in its manufacturing environment over the long term. ‘SEE • THINK • ACT’ is at the core of Daiming Robotics’ AI robotic approach, and reliable deployment is the foundation for enabling this intelligence to be effective on the factory floor. The IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 certification reflects our ongoing efforts to integrate intelligence, network security, and practical manufacturing requirements into product development.

In addition to authentication, TM AI Cobot has also established a full-life-cycle network security mechanism that covers vulnerability management, incident reporting, and security updates. Daming Robotics stated that the company will continue to strengthen these mechanisms in accordance with the requirements of the European Union's Cyber Resilience Act ( CRA ).

From built-in vision to built-in AI, Daiming Robotics indicates that it will continue to focus on bringing intelligence into real manufacturing environments and providing a credible foundation for deployment.
