eClosing, remote online notarization, SMART Doc ® generation, eNote, and eVault functions are connected through an end-to-end digital delivery platform.

Pittsburgh, October 6 (Reuters/ PR Newswire ) – Mortgage Connect, LP is one of the largest providers of mortgage services and technical solutions in the United States. The company announced today that it has acquired a majority stake in the Stavvy ® platform and plans to merge its business with Mortgage Connect's eClosing solution Simply Secure Sign ® to create a more powerful, better-resourced digital settlement platform with deep industry experience.

This integration combines two complementary technologies to provide loan institutions, service providers, investors, and settlement partners with a more complete end-to-end eClosing experience. Mortgage Connect indicates that this collaboration will help the company continue to advance its mission: to reduce real estate transaction costs, whether for refinancing or home purchases, while controlling risks, maintaining compliance, and providing the highest level of consumer experience.

For lending institutions, this is precisely where the value lies.

Currently, when loan institutions complete fully digital transactions, they often rely on multiple suppliers – which entails separate system integrations, contracts, security reviews, work processes, and operational handovers. The combination of Mortgage Connect and Stavvy will eliminate a large portion of this fragmentation and provide loan institutions with a single platform that covers everything from transaction qualification assessment to digital execution and collateral management.

Mortgage Connect has established a nationwide eClosing platform, known for providing a seamless experience for borrowers and lending institutions in remote online notarization, IPEN, hybrid, and traditional delivery transactions. Stavvy complements this with a digital票据 and collateral infrastructure that includes SMART Doc ® generation, eNote execution across 50 states in the United States, eVault custody, as well as MERS and eRegistry registration and transfer, thereby perfecting this experience.

Mortgage Connect CEO Jeff Coury stated: " Mortgage Connect has always been focused on innovations that can create tangible efficiency and reduce real estate transaction costs. By combining Simply Secure Sign and Stavvy, we are building a more comprehensive digital mortgage platform with enhanced capabilities in delivery, services, and collateral management. This combination enables our clients to streamline their work processes, reduce operational friction, and provide consumers with a better experience. We are delighted to bring this enhanced platform to the market and continue to help lenders and service providers move towards a more efficient and fully digitalized mortgage experience."

The merged platform will use digital qualification technology to identify the appropriate delivery method for each transaction, determining whether a loan can be completed through fully remote online notarization, IPEN, hybrid execution, or traditional paper delivery.

Subsequently, lending institutions can complete the processes of eClosing /file execution, notarization, eNote creation, MERS registration, eVault custody, and post-delivery procedures within the same ecosystem. This end-to-end capability covers home purchases, refinancing, home equity loans, and loss mitigation transactions.

Mortgage Connect currently provides services to 19 of the top 20 lending institutions and service providers in the United States, covering initiation, servicing, and default handling. By combining Stavvy ® with Simply Secure Sign ®, Mortgage Connect now offers a more comprehensive end-to-end digital settlement platform across its national network, helping to accelerate the industry's transition towards fully digital mortgage executions.

Stavvy The Chief Executive Officer Kyle Stephenson stated: "What makes this combination so notable is the natural fit between the two. Stavvy has already established a technical infrastructure around eNote, eVault, and digital collateral, while Mortgage Connect has created an excellent eClosing experience and possesses the scale and operational capabilities to support the largest lending institutions in the United States. Integrating these capabilities into one platform brings something completely different to the market—a truly end-to-end eClosing platform. Lending institutions no longer need to piece together multiple suppliers to complete digital mortgage transactions."

As the two companies integrate their technologies and expertise, the management team and employees of Stavvy will join Mortgage Connect, and they will continue to expand the platform and its features.
