London, October 6, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Clarivate Plc (New York Stock Exchange ticker: CLVT) ("Clarivate" or "the Company") announced today that it has successfully completed the sale of its Life Sciences and Healthcare business units to Altaris, LLC ("Altaris"). This transaction aims to drive the company's transformation and simplify its business portfolio. The deal amount is $600 million and was announced on July 6, 2026.

With the completion of this transaction, Clarivate has now become a more focused, subscription-based global provider, offering reliable proprietary data, authoritative content, AI-powered intelligence solutions, embedded workflow software, and technical support services. The company's leading two business divisions, Academia & Government, along with Intellectual Property, rely on the profound professional knowledge of its Clarivate employees and shared infrastructure to support customers at critical moments of innovation, research, learning, and the creation and protection of intellectual property.
