News from the IT home on October 9th: The official OpenAI Developers has announced that OpenAI has officially launched the Ultrafast version of GPT-6.1 in API, Codex, and ChatGPT Work.

The operating speed of this version can reach up to 8 times that of the standard version (Sol Standard), and the pricing is 6 times that of the standard version: $12 per million tokens inputs (Note from IT: approximately 80.5 yuan RMB at current exchange rates), and $60 per million tokens outputs (approximately 402.7 yuan RMB at current exchange rates).

In Codex and ChatGPT Work, this feature is currently available to Pro 500, eligible pay-as-you-go Enterprise Editions ( usage-based Enterprise ), as well as the quota-based billing Education Editions ( credit-based Edu ) plans; enterprise users need to have the permission actively enabled by an administrator.

The Ultrafast version, targeted at GPT-6.1 and Sol, has been launched in all supported regions and now fully supports data residency compliance services within the United States and the European Union.
