It is predicted that laptop panel shipments will increase by 50% year-on-year in 2026, and will further grow by 24% in 2027.

In the high-end notebook display panel market, Counterpoint expects that OLED panels will further expand their lead over Mini LED panels. It is anticipated that the shipment share of OLED panels in this market will increase from 56% in 2025 to 75% in 2026, while the share of Mini LED panels will decrease from 44% to 25%.

In addition to the replacement of Apple products, the continuous growth in demand for high-end AI PC, as well as the advancements in OLED panel technology and manufacturing processes, have further driven the expansion of the OLED panel market.

Looking to the future, Counterpoint Research expects that from 2024 to 2030, the compound annual growth rate of OLED notebook panel shipments will reach 26%, and the compound annual growth rate of panel revenue is expected to reach 35%. As Apple drives manufacturers to gradually introduce OLED into high-end notebook products, the proportion of these technology panels in the notebook market is also expected to continue to increase.
