Los Angeles, October 13th / PRNewswire / -- Clinical-stage medical technology company Sensydia announced today that it has completed the initial delivery of its latest financing, which saw over-subscription, with a financing amount exceeding 6 million US dollars. The financing was led by Colle Capital Partners and received strong support from Orlando Health Ventures. The funds raised will be used to advance the Cardiac Performance System ( CPS ™) of Sensydia research, to facilitate the acquisition of FDA authorization, and to support preparations for commercial release.
CPS evaluates cardiac function by collecting acoustic and electrical signals and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for analysis. This system is designed to enable clinicians to obtain pulmonary artery pressure assessments in nearly any scenario without the need for invasive catheter insertion, aiding in the identification of congestive conditions and guiding the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.
In July 2026, a new Category III CPT ® code 1036T came into effect, applicable to non-invasive hemodynamic assessments based on three key elements: passively collected acoustic and electrical signals; enhanced algorithmic analysis; and review, interpretation by physicians, and integration into clinical care – which is consistent with the methods adopted by CPS.
"The most important medical technology companies create categories, rather than compete within them," said Bill Hawkins, a retired Medtronic chairman and CEO who also serves as a consultant for Sensydia. "This technology has the potential to bring pressure information to the bedside in a new way and has the foundation for scaling up."
Cardiologists treating heart failure need to obtain the correct indicators at the right time and in the right place. We created CPS to provide clinicians with objective pressure information in the consulting rooms where they make treatment decisions," said Anthony Arnold, the CEO of Sensydia. "With the support of Colle Capital and Orlando Health Ventures, we are focused on bringing CPS to market quickly to help patients with heart failure."
"Based on catheter insertion data – this clinical gold standard – CPS was built, and the scale of it is something that few companies would attempt," said Victoria Grace, the founding partner of Colle Capital Partners. "This level of rigor, combined with the already in-place CPT code, fills us with confidence in this team. We are very proud to lead this round of financing and support Sensydia."
