News from the IT community on October 14th: A source from the X platform, Early Apple, reported today that Apple is considering adopting a dual-version strategy for its AirPods Pro headphones, similar to the pricing structure of the AirPods and AirPods models. The high-end version will feature a metal casing, which is different from previous products, and it will be available initially only in the United States.

For reference, when Apple has launched its AirPods Pro headphones over the years, there has usually been only one version. Additionally, it has been noted that the AirPods 4 comes in two versions: one that does not support active noise cancellation, priced at 999 yuan; and one that does support active noise cancellation, priced at 1399 yuan.
And by AirPods, both versions support active noise cancellation. The differences lie in the addition of wireless charging support and the ability to adjust volume by swiping gently. The prices have also risen to 999 yuan and 1149 yuan respectively.
However, as of now, there is no conclusion as to whether the aforementioned rumors are accurate or not.
