At the same time, they also invested in products such as Huaxia Sci-Tech 50 ETF and Huaxia SSE 50 ETF.
Some market participants joked, 'Those who bought into it before, buy more now!' The leading companies with the broad-based ETF index have once again seen a surge in wealth.
Two broad-based ETF funds replicate the heavy trading volume at the end of the session again.
At the close of trading on October 16th, Huatai-PineBridge CSI 300 ETF led with a trading volume of 16.093 billion yuan, a significant increase of 141.45% from the previous day, making it the most dazzling "money absorber" of the day. This trading volume not only topped the list but also far exceeded that of the second-place Huaxia SSE Sci-Tech Innovation Board 50 ETF, which was 8.937 billion yuan. The clear trend of funds concentrating in the blue-chip sector of the market was evident.

Institutions say: It's not advisable to be overly pessimistic; the odds of success are higher when making arrangements at lower levels after a pullback.
Recently, valuations in global equity markets have been under pressure. The Federal Reserve's interest rate hikes, coupled with disruptions to the narrative surrounding the AI trend due to news regarding external optical modules, have led to increased volatility in the A-share market since the end of September. Many fund companies believe that positive factors in the current market are beginning to accumulate.
Looking back, the pressure from high congestion in the early stages is nearing its end, and sentiment indicators have further declined, approaching their lowest levels of the mid-period. With a new round of policies aimed at stabilizing growth gradually being implemented, the market is expected to receive support. There is no need to be overly pessimistic anymore, said Harvest Fund.
Firstly, in terms of policy, a new round of policies aimed at stabilizing growth, centered around mortgage interest subsidies for the real estate sector, were implemented before the festival, indicating the opening of a new window for stabilizing growth. It is expected that these policies will continue to have an effect. Secondly, regarding sentiment indicators, leveraged funds have been continuously withdrawing; in September, there was a outflow of over 50 billion yuan in financing. As of October 13th, the balance of margin trading had fallen below 2.55 trillion yuan, returning to the level seen at the beginning of April this year. On October 14th, market trading volume shrank to 1.42 trillion yuan, the lowest level since July 2025. Therefore, historically, after trading volumes shrink to their limit, it is generally not appropriate to remain overly pessimistic.
In addition, regarding the pullback in the technology growth sector, Harvest Fund stated that it was influenced by disruptions from messages from the US Federal Communications Commission ( FCC ) and fluctuations in peripheral tech stocks, but it did not represent a reversal in the industry trend. As the market continues to correct and "valuations + congestion" levels are reduced, performance-driven factors and domestic control over the industry are expected to act as a dual catalyst. Therefore, the long-term success rate of buying on dips after a pullback is often higher than chasing high prices during times of market excitement.
