In response to this, He Xiaopeng, the chairman of Xpeng Motors and CEO, commented, "A very cool alternative form of flying car." He stated that whether it can be put into practical use depends on specific indicators such as flight safety and flight parameters (such as range). However, no one can bypass flight certification (such as TC), which is a task that requires long-term efforts worldwide. He sincerely hopes that the progress in this area can be accelerated.

NIO founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin commented, "That's amazing! We really don't have anything like this. Give a thumbs up to Tesla."

As previously reported by IT, Xpeng Motors is also continuously investing in the research and development of flying cars, with the goal of achieving mass production of its first flying car this year, thereby accelerating the transition of low-altitude travel from a concept to reality.
Currently, Xpeng has established two major flight product systems: the "land-based aircraft carrier" focuses on personal low-altitude flying experiences, while the new eVTOL and A868 are designed to meet the efficient travel needs of multiple people over long distances, covering various low-altitude travel scenarios across different distances.
As of now, Xpeng's flying cars have received over 7,000 orders, making it the company with the highest number of orders for flying cars globally. To promote the large-scale implementation of flying cars, Xpeng has built the world's first flying car factory with a planned annual production capacity of 10,000 units and a construction area of 120,000 square meters, taking the lead in entering the stage of mass production.
