InfiMotion Electric Drive System Debut at Paris Motor Show, Installed in Models of Multiple Automobile Brands
Paris, October 22, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- The 2026 Paris Motor Show was held from October 12 to 18 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. An important enterprise in the field of powertrain components in China, InfiMotion Technology, did not set up its own booth, but its electric drive systems were featured in the product lines of several automobile manufacturers, including almost all the vehicles displayed at Geely's booth, as well as models from Lynk & Co, Krypton, and Smart.
Geely's booth also witnessed the European debut of the Monjaro EM -i, which was displayed alongside the EX2, EX5, and STARRAY EM -i. The latest products of InfiMotion were also showcased at Geely's UTAC exhibition in France, allowing European media to have direct access to its new generation of electric drive product line.
Technological Leadership: Setting a Global Standard
InfiMotion The brand-new dual-motor off-road electric drive system makes its debut on the Geely K011. The company states that this is the only dual-motor system of its kind that features a locking mechanism; each motor has an output power of 220 kilowatts, and the combined maximum torque reaches 2×4,500 N·m.
The differential lock controller of this system can concentrate the reaction force on a single wheel to help the vehicle get out of trouble; the torque distribution to a single wheel can reach 9,000 N·m, with a release range of 200%. The company claims that this system has obtained IPX8 certification and has successfully passed iceberg impact and immersion tests.
Its product line covers voltages from 400V to 900V. The 900V TP501 coaxial dual-motor drive uses a semi-solid die-cast magnesium alloy housing, reducing the weight by 30%. The P600 compact electric drive assembly for voltages above 750V utilizes Mini-Pin windings and 0.2-millimeter ultra-thin silicon steel sheets, achieving an efficiency of 92.4%.
The company stated that its unique high-performance oil cooling system can support over 100 consecutive full-throttle accelerations without any decline in performance. This off-road system has entered the mass production phase, and the 11-in-1 domain control electric drive unit, which was launched in 2024, is already installed in the Geely Galaxy E5 – which the company claims to be China's best-selling A-class pure electric vehicle.
Global Competitiveness: Continuous Expansion of International Presence
InfiMotion indicates that in the first half of 2026, the company ranked among the top three suppliers of motors and inverters in China based on shipment volume. Its R&D network covers Wuxi, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Gothenburg, and it employs over 1,000 engineers, including more than 100 Swedish software experts.
The company has five major intelligent manufacturing bases in China, which can support a global supply network extending to Europe and Malaysia. Its testing center, certified by CNAS, is equipped with the world's first motor test bench capable of reaching 30,000 revolutions per minute, covering verification ranges including thermal cycles from -60°C to 140°C, 1,500 hours of salt spray testing, and 2,500 hours of durability testing.
