New York, October 22, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Lazard Global Total Return and Income Fund Inc. ("Fund") (NYSE : LGI) Today, it was confirmed that in accordance with its management distribution policy and with prior authorization from the board of directors, a monthly distribution of $0.15340 per share will be made to its issued common stock. This distribution will be paid on November 24, 2026, to shareholders registered as of November 10, 2026. The ex-dividend date is November 10, 2026.
The fund will make the previously announced distribution today, on October 22, 2026. The table below lists the estimated amounts for this distribution and the cumulative distributions made to date, including today's distribution. The sources of these funds include: net investment income, realized capital gains (both short-term and long-term), and capital repurchases. All amounts are calculated per share of common stock and are prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the United States, which may differ from federal income tax regulations.
Investors should not draw any conclusions regarding the investment performance of the fund based solely on the amount allocated this time or the terms of the fund management allocation policy.
The fund estimates that the amount distributed has exceeded the net investment income and realized capital gains; therefore, part of your distribution may constitute a capital return. A capital return can occur, for example, when the fund returns to you some or all of the funds you have invested. Capital return distributions do not necessarily reflect the fund's investment performance and should not be confused with “yield” or “income.”
The aforementioned allocation amounts and sources are merely estimates and are not to be used for tax purposes. The actual amounts and sources for tax declarations will depend on the fund's investment activities during the remaining period of this fiscal year and may be adjusted due to changes in tax regulations. The foundation provides financial intermediaries with the information required to prepare the 1099- DIV form, and subsequently, these financial intermediaries will send you the 1099- DIV form for that calendar year, which explains how to declare these allocations for federal income tax purposes.
