Higgsfield, headquartered in San Francisco, stated that the company maintains deep connections with Kazakhstan through the Astana hub (Astana Hub). The company was co-founded by Alex Mashrabov, Kazakhstani engineers from AI, Yerzat Dulat, and Mahi De Silva. They described this as an important milestone in the development of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan, as it is the country's first AI unicorn.
Higgsfield, Co-Founder and CEO, stated: "Today, every brand, studio, and creator has a demand for visual content that exceeds what traditional production capabilities can provide, and a new category is emerging to meet this need. TCV has invested in many iconic companies that have transformed the media industry, while NVIDIA has provided computational power support for each generation of products on our platform. With leaders from the field of computing power joining us in media development, we are in a favorable position to lead this new frontier."
TCV, the founding general partner, stated: "Over the past 30 years, TCV has invested in many platforms that have changed the way people around the world create and consume media, including Netflix, Spotify, Facebook, ByteDance, Electronic Arts, and now also Higgsfield." TCV, a general partner, said: "We believe that the teams at Alex and Higgsfield are realizing a powerful vision at a product iteration and market adoption speed that we rarely see: to provide creators, brand marketers, and agencies with a faster, professional-level, native AI mechanism to transform ideas into images and videos."
Higgsfield is defining a new category – Native AI visual media, which refers to images, videos, and films conceived, produced, and adapted on the AI platform. Brands and agencies, including those in Fortune's 500 list, use this platform to transform one advertising campaign concept into up to 100 different ad versions suitable for various markets and platforms. Higgsfield claims to have over 40 million users, covering 238 countries and regions across North America, Europe, Latin America, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, with the United States being its largest single market and Europe being the region with the highest usage volume.
18 months after the product was launched, Higgsfield reported that its annualized revenue in September had exceeded $1 billion. The company stated that its enterprise business is the fastest-growing segment, with a month-over-month increase of over 100%. Since June, the contracted revenue from corporate customers has increased by 10 times. Ramp, an independent provider of business spending data, identified Higgsfield as the fastest-growing provider in the image and video AI industry, noting that it has been acquiring market share from competing platforms faster than any other supplier in this field.
At the time of this investment, visual content spending is on the rise, and the way content is produced is also changing. WPP Media predicts that global advertising revenue will reach $1.3 trillion in 2026, with AI being cited as a major factor driving this growth. IAB expects that digital video advertising spending in the United States will exceed $80 billion this year, and nearly two-thirds of buyers are now using generative AI in digital video creatives, up from half in 2025.
Higgsfield serves three industries that rely heavily on visual content: marketing and advertising, entertainment, and the creator economy. Each of these industries represents vast and continuously growing markets, where the demand for visual content has surpassed traditional production capabilities. As companies strive to reach a broader audience, the demand for such content continues to rise. Moreover, as personalization becomes the standard practice, the market for Higgsfield is also expanding steadily.
Expand Vision token Economy
As AI shifts from training models to large-scale operations, it is anticipated that the next phase of Higgsfield will be defined by applications that transform token into the most valuable outputs. Higgsfield is building this layer for visual AI, combining leading video, image, and audio models with its proprietary creative technologies to turn computational power into finished commercial works.
The revenue generated by visual content for each token is significantly higher than that of text. Industry benchmarks show that the effective revenue from generative videos is approximately $30 to $150 per million equivalent token, whereas for text, it is only $0.15 to $0.60. Commercial visual works are also rarely created just once: a single advertising campaign typically requires a preliminary version, multiple variants for testing purposes, and adapted versions for different markets and languages.
Higgsfield has become one of the largest AI media platforms in the world, processing 12 trillion token per month and completing 150 million generation tasks.
NVIDIA Physics AI Vice President of Simulation Rev Lebaredian stated: "The AI factory produces intelligence in the form of token, and it is at the application layer that these token become useful. The collaboration between Higgsfield and NVIDIA in terms of hardware and software is transforming computing power into creative work for millions of users and hundreds of the world's largest brands."
Higgsfield has been cooperating with NVIDIA for a long time in terms of hardware and software.
- Higgsfield has completed end-to-end expansion on the infrastructure of NVIDIA, covering generations from L40 and A40 GPU to Hopper and Blackwell. It is now expanding to NVIDIA Vera Rubin to meet the growing demands.
- Higgsfield utilizes NVIDIA Dynamo to securely deploy and scale customized inference workloads on its own GPU infrastructure.
- The 15-minute animated short film "Kök Börü" by Higgsfield is supported by the infrastructure provided by NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra. Higgsfield has open-sourced the entire project and turned it into a free course on Higgsfield Academy; Higgsfield Academy is their film production learning platform, and over 150,000 creators have completed the courses there.
This financing will be used to support product development, global infrastructure, recruitment, and market expansion.
