London, October 26th / PRNewswire / —— Cognizant (Nasdaq ticker: CTSH) announced today that it has been selected as a strategic partner by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ( EBRD ) to support its Tech Blueprint – a technological transformation project aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation through digital processes driven by artificial intelligence, data, and intelligent automation.

According to this five-year framework agreement, Cognizant plans to provide key technical services through two complementary service models: result-oriented managed services and fixed-capacity services, covering digital and office space management, cloud infrastructure, data and security, software engineering, automation, and AI. The framework also includes a continuous improvement and innovation plan aimed at enhancing services, increasing resilience, and delivering measurable value over a longer period of time.

As part of the collaboration, Cognizant plans to provide a series of proprietary AI solutions to EBRD to support its service management, software engineering, and workplace solutions: Neuro ® IT Operations is used to enhance visibility into EBRD technical assets, predict and solve problems more quickly, and improve service resilience; Flowsource ™ enables faster delivery of high-quality software by applying generative and proxy AI throughout the software development lifecycle, as well as achieving self-healing and left-shift capabilities; WorkNEXT ™ offers more intuitive and personalized workplace management through voice and translation services driven by AI, as well as support orchestration supported by agents.

These measures are expected to enhance service reliability, expand channels for acquiring professional skills, improve operational efficiency, and support the continuous evolution of the bank's technical capabilities.

EBRD, General Manager of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, stated: "At EBRD, Tech Blueprint serves as our strategic roadmap for enhancing the technologies and capabilities that support the bank's mission and transformation. As we continue to support sustainable growth led by the private sector and help build competitive, resilient, and well-governed economies, we need secure, flexible, and future-oriented technologies. Cooperation with Cognizant will help us optimize our technologies, further enhance resilience, and create the capacity for large-scale innovation, thereby increasing our impact on the people in the countries and regions where we operate."

EBRD Technical Director Simon Reeves stated: "Our Tech Blueprint is helping us to change the way internal delivery technologies are conducted within banks, and strategic partnerships are an important part of this process. We have chosen to collaborate with Cognizant due to their expertise in managed services, AI-enabled delivery capabilities, and a result-oriented approach to work, all of which will support our Tech Blueprint and transformation. Through this collaboration, we will accelerate the process of modernization and digitization."

Cognizant, Managing Director for the UK and Ireland region, stated: "As AI Builder, the role of Cognizant is to help customers transform their technological investments into reliable operations and measurable results, and this can only be achieved when the services are capable of adapting to the complexities of real business environments.
