Investors who were not allocated Jio Platforms IPO shares will regain access to their subscription funds starting from October 27, 2026 (Tuesday). Most subscriptions were made through UPI or ASBA; the funds were previously only frozen in the bank accounts and not deducted. Banks are now lifting the freeze for those who did not win the allocation. If an investor was allocated fewer shares than they subscribed for, only the excess funds will be released, and the amount corresponding to the allocated shares will be deducted.

Jio Platforms IPO When will the refund be issued?

Investors who have not been allocated Jio Platforms IPO shares will regain the right to use their subscription funds starting from October 27, 2026 (Tuesday).

Most of the subscriptions for this issuance were submitted through UPI or ASBA. As a result, the subscription amounts were only frozen in the investors' bank accounts and no actual deductions were made. The banks are currently unlocking this portion of the freeze for those who did not win the subscription, allowing all funds to be available again.

For investors who are allocated fewer shares than they requested, the bank will only release the excess funds, while the amount corresponding to the allocated shares will be deducted.

Applicants can check whether the funds have been unfrozen by accessing the mandate (Authorization) section within their UPI application, or by viewing their bank account balance.

The allocation results can still be queried on the websites of KFin Technologies, the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). When querying, you can use the number PAN or the application number.
