- Phillip Securities has upgraded the rating of Amazon.com ( AMZN ) from Accumulate to Buy, and raised the target price from $320 to $330. After its third-quarter financial report, the institution stated that the "strong" demand for Amazon supports its "aggressive" capital expenditures.
- Deutsche Bank has upgraded the rating of CrowdStrike ( CRWD ) from Hold to Buy, and raised the target price from $240 to $300. In the research report, the institution stated to investors that the market has not yet fully recognized how artificial intelligence will expand the cybersecurity market.
- Evercore ISI has raised the rating of Clorox ( CLX ) from Underperform to In Line, with a target price of $99. The adjustment was made before the company announced its financial results after market closing. It also added that the appointment of Fabian Garcia as CEO has brought "proven turnaround experience".
- Northland has raised the targets for Applied Optoelectronics ( AAOI ) and Coherent ( COHR ) to Outperform respectively, while maintaining their target prices of $120 and $280. The institution stated that, in addition to the significant decline in stock prices, the agreement between Marvell Technology ( MRVL ) to acquire Lumentum ( LITE ) highlights the value of scarce photonics device capabilities, which is important for large AI chip suppliers as well as for computing and networking IC.
Five major downgrades:
- Evercore ISI has downgraded Reddit ( RDDT ) from Outperform to In Line, with the target price lowered from $265 to $120, and also canceled the tactical outperform rating for Reddit. The firm noted that the company's third-quarter performance was "above expectations but guidance was lowered," and expressed increased concerns regarding the sustainability of Reddit users; the number of daily active users in the United States decreased by 2% year-over-year. Moreover, the company warned that if search traffic losses continue to deteriorate at the rate of October, global daily active users in the fourth quarter could see a double-digit percentage decline from the base of 130 million.
- Morgan Stanley has downgraded the rating of Coinbase ( COIN ) from Equal Weight to Underweight, and reduced the target price from $258 to $120. The institution stated that its confidence in the recovery of Coinbase's profits has deteriorated.

- Goldman Sachs has downgraded the rating of Floor & Decor ( FND ) from Neutral to Sell, and reduced the target price from $53 to $38. The adjustment occurred after the third-quarter financial report. The institution stated that the reasons for the downgrade include a slowdown in comparable sales growth since the beginning of this quarter, sales headwinds due to macroeconomic factors, and increased supply chain costs putting pressure on gross margins in the fourth quarter.
- Morgan Stanley has downgraded the rating of Camtek ( CAMT ) from Equal Weight to Underweight, and reduced the target price from $152 to $126. The institution stated that the company could approach its medium-term financial model by 2029, but most of this upside potential has already been reflected in the stock price.
