IT News on November 4th: On November 3rd local time, Microsoft announced a special edition of the Xbox Series X console named Xbox Series X - BITE, and declared that it would be given away for free through a lottery campaign.

This host features a crocodile-shaped casing that is approximately 5 feet (about 1.52 meters) long, and contains a Xbox Series X that can operate normally. The exterior design incorporates elements such as crocodiles, Xbox logos, and game controllers.

From the images released by Microsoft, it can be seen that this crocodile's body features a square, raised design, with a Xbox Series X host embedded in its abdomen. Once the host is activated, the Xbox logo, which has been specially colored, can be seen through the square area on its body. IT noticed that the crocodile's eyes also feature Xbox green irises and pupils designed inspired by the Xbox Nexus button.

In addition, this special edition device is also equipped with a custom Xbox handle placed inside the open mouth of a crocodile, with the surface of the handle bearing marks that resemble being bitten by a crocodile.

Microsoft stated that the design of this product is distinctly different from the special edition consoles previously released. This crocodile-shaped console was created by a professional team with John Nolan Studio, and the entire process involved 3D modeling, sculpting, and physical manufacturing. The studio has previously been involved in the production of creature designs and mechanical animations for the "Witcher" series, "Jurassic World 3," as well as the upcoming new series "Harry Potter" with HBO. The production team specifically noted that no real crocodiles were harmed during the project.

Microsoft has not explicitly stated whether this crocodile-themed console is related to the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto VI" (GTA 6) by Rockstar Games. However, the company mentioned in its promotional materials that Xbox will be heading to Florida in November this year, with local wildlife and unique landscapes as the theme of the promotion.

The story of “GTA 6” is set in the fictional region of Leonida, which is based on the state of Florida in the United States. It has also been confirmed that wild animals such as crocodiles will appear in the game. Since Sony PlayStation is an official marketing partner of “GTA 6”, Microsoft did not directly mention this game in its promotional materials this time. However, the crocodile design, along with the Florida-themed elements, has indeed sparked speculation about a possible connection between the two companies.
