According to CoinMeta, Grok 4.6 will be released on August 7th. Elon Musk revealed on social media on July 28th that Grok 4.6 is a model with 1.5 trillion parameters, possessing stronger capabilities for supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning. Grok 4.7 will be released in a few weeks, with 2.1 trillion parameters. Musk stated that although 4.7 will be superior to 4.6 in every aspect, it will be slightly slower in service speed. Grok 4.5 was launched as early as July and is designed specifically for coding, proxy tasks, and knowledge work. The company currently charges $2 per million for input tokens and $6 per million for output tokens. The new model release plan for Musk was proposed in response to the evaluation of Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch. Rauch believes that Grok 4.5 is the most cost-effective cybersecurity model.
