According to CoinMeta, Apple (AAPL) is considering returning to the enterprise server market and may collaborate with chip manufacturing giant Nvidia (NVDA) to develop networking technologies. The report indicates that Apple is working on a AI server, which is expected to come in two versions: a smaller device equipped with two M8 Ultra chips and a larger device equipped with four M8 Ultra chips. Apple's return to the enterprise server market has received support from John Ternus, who was in charge of hardware at the time and is now the current CEO. Although the name of Nvidia is associated with this project, Apple could also proceed with it without Nvidia technology. This AI server is not expected to be launched before 2029.
