According to CoinMeta, Michael Blaugrund, Vice President of Intercontinental Exchange's Strategic Planning, stated that during the evaluation of different platforms, Avalanche met multiple requirements of the New York Stock Exchange's on-chain ATS. The two parties have been in close contact. As of now, no cooperation agreement has been reached between them, and this statement is still in the evaluation phase. In February, Intercontinental Exchange disclosed this ATS plan, which aims to combine the New York Stock Exchange's Pillar matching engine with on-chain settlement to support 24/7 trading of tokenized stocks against stablecoins with instant settlement. At that time, no specific blockchain was mentioned, only that a privately licensed chain would be used.
