According to CoinMeta, Hyperliquid has announced the launch of a manual lending feature, allowing users to mortgage HYPE or BTC to borrow USDC and USDT. The loan-to-value ratio for HYPE is 65%, and for BTC it is 50%. The liquidation thresholds are 82.5% and 75%, respectively. Mortgaged assets do not generate interest, while the deposited USDC and USDT earn interest, with the interest rate varying based on the utilization rate of funds and calculated on an hourly basis. On that day, the total amount of assets borrowed through this feature reached 269 million US dollars.
