Singapore payment platform Dtcpay completes $25 million Series A financing

According to CoinMeta, Singapore-based payment platform Dtcpay has completed a $25 million Series A financing round, led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India. SBI Group, Genedant Capital, and Kwee Liong Tek also participated in the round. The funds will be used to optimize cross-border capital flows. Dtcpay's Visa card supports the consumption of fiat currency and stablecoins at over 150 million merchant locations worldwide. It has currently stopped supporting cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and has fully shifted to providing stablecoin transaction services. Dtcpay holds a regulatory license from the Singapore Monetary Authority and a license as an electronic financial institution from Luxembourg, and also has operational qualifications in Hong Kong, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
