According to CoinMeta, the developer of Cardano, Sebastien Guillemot, confirmed that the smart contract functionality of the Midnight network is expected to be enabled on the mainnet soon. He stated that the capabilities of private smart contracts, including the ability to mint private custom tokens, will provide developers with more ways to build applications. Meanwhile, the founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, indicated that RealFi will be launched next month, and Pogen is expected to go live within 90 days. Guillemot also mentioned that Midnight is undergoing a major upgrade that will enable new application functions. Currently, the price of the Night token is $0.02437, with a 5.18% increase in the past 24 hours.
