According to CoinMeta, Binance Wallet has issued a security announcement reminding users with the identifier iPhone to check if they have the Fomopeek application installed on their devices. This application contains malicious code that exploits vulnerabilities in the iOS system to gain maximum device permissions, allowing access to sensitive data such as private keys, mnemonic phrases, and login credentials. Users are advised to delete the Fomopeek application, update their iOS system to the latest version, and create new wallets on devices that do not have this application installed in order to transfer their assets.
