According to CoinMeta, an application named Fomopeek has been discovered to have stolen the private keys and mnemonic phrases of iPhone users. SlowMist pointed out that versions 1.1 to 1.2 contain malicious code that exploits a vulnerability in iOS to gain maximum device permissions. Once the attack is successful, wallet data, login credentials, chat records, and files from all applications can be accessed. Binance is urging any users who have installed Fomopeek to immediately delete that application and create a new wallet on a clean device, transferring all assets to it.
