Hoskinson: In the next 5 to 10 years, cryptocurrencies will be deeply integrated into AI

According to CoinMeta, as reported by The Wolf, of, and All Streets, the founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, stated that in the next 5 to 10 years, cryptocurrencies will be deeply integrated into AI. Blockchain can solve the challenges in payment, alignment, and data traceability that AI face. He believes that OpenAI and Anthropic must achieve scalable profitability; while individual models may be profitable, the cost of pre-training is a major obstacle. Currently, it is difficult to sustain the construction of data centers, as computing power expenditure cannot increase tenfold each year, nor can the global power supply support such growth. He predicts that in the future, there will be idle data centers, and computing power will then shift towards local and edge models. These models will be integrated through distributed computing networks, incorporating devices such as GPU and smartphones, with encryption technology taking on the roles of coordination and settlement. Hoskinson also forecasts that by 2030, the scale of public chain assets could reach trillions of dollars, with 1 billion new users.
