Bitcoin Lightning Network's First Quantum-Secure Protection Solution Launched

CoinMeta Data: Researchers from East Texas A&M University have developed a quantum-safe Lightning Network ( PQLN ), which can prevent attackers from recording current Lightning Network payments and decrypt them when quantum computers become a reality. This fix does not require any changes to Bitcoin itself and can operate alongside existing nodes, covering 33,000 channels and involving 3,750 BTC. The bandwidth cost of implementing this solution is ten times that of the original, and it is also planned that NIST elliptic curve cryptography will be banned after 2035.
