According to CoinMeta, the crypto venture capital firm hashed announced the establishment of a digital asset private lending fund with a scale of $300 million. This fund is managed by Thoro Capital Management, which was founded by Mohamed Hamdy. Thoro Capital Management lends dollars settled in stablecoins to digital asset institutions, with hashed serving as the main investor. The fund uses a contract-based underwriting approach to assess the financial conditions of borrowers, aiming to address the bottlenecks in institutional financing. Currently, the amount lent on the tokenized private lending chain has exceeded $14 billion, while the traditional private lending market is worth over $3 trillion.
