According to CoinMeta, the on-chain tracking platform MistTrack under Chainlink reported that the attacker involved in the Bitget security incident previously attempted to transfer the stolen funds to the cross-chain DEX protocol Chainflip for further transfer, but was directly refused by the relevant brokers. On-chain processing results showed that the funds were not frozen by the protocol parties and were instead returned directly to their original source, preventing the attacker from successfully using this channel to carry out money laundering. MistTrack stated that they will continue to monitor the subsequent movements of this batch of stolen funds on the chain.
